One winter’s day in 2019 a casual conversation between riding friends was the spark that led to the launch of BonBon Equestrian. Our complementary skills across design, retail and the world of equestrianism coupled with a love of fashion and stylish riderwear meant that we made the perfect team.
Being dressed to ride every day gives us an in-depth understanding of the essential qualities for practical, flattering and comfortable garments. We have combined that knowledge with class and creativity in design to deliver a collection of stylish equestrian fashion.
Considering this team behind the brand, it was inevitable that BonBon Equestrian would become known for a flattering fit in unique art-inspired designs executed across performance fabrics suitable to the sport and climate.
BonBon Equestrian has since grown exponentially both in volume as well as product offering. Proudly created and manufactured in South Africa, we are passionate about small local businesses and happy to have helped create local jobs.
Emily Ehlers
Emily Ehlers is a full time professional rider, trainer and coach who is currently competing in the open classes of dressage, showing and showjumping. She is based at the acclaimed Deltacrest Equestrian Centre. Emily is well known for her great taste and innate sense of equestrian style.
Janet Norman
Janet is happy to be out of corporate fashion retail and into equestrian wear combining her passion for horses, humans, fashion and photography while working with the best of small scale local suppliers for Bonbon Equestrian.
